How should I prepare for the test?
No Special preparation is required prior to the test.
Do I need to stop any medication before the test?
No. Unlike skin prick tests, the IgE blood test is not affected by antihistamines, steroids, or most medications — making it safer and more convenient.
Is the test painful or risky?
Not at all. The test involves a quick blood draw by a trained nurse — similar to any standard blood test. There is no exposure to allergens, making it a very safe option.

How long will my appointment take?
The test should take about 30mins to complete.
