 About MastoCheck

MastoCheck is a next-generation early breast cancer screening test that uses multiple protein biomarkers, requiring only a small amount of blood (~1ml). It is specially designed to overcome the limitations of conventional breast cancer screening methods such as mammography, and serves as a useful complement to imaging tests.

MastoCheck is particularly suitable for women who face challenges with standard imaging — including those with dense breast tissue, breast implants, or concerns about radiation exposure. It may also be considered by younger women aged 20–40 with above-average breast cancer risk factors such as family history. Please consult our doctor to determine if MastoCheck is appropriate for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I prepare for my breast cancer screening?

Wearing loose-fitting, two-piece clothing is encouraged. For mammograms, avoid using deodorants, perfumes, powders, or creams on your chest or underarm areas on the day of your screening. Schedule your appointment at least one week after menstruation for best results.

Mammogram is an X-ray that can detect microcalcifications, which are early signs of breast cancer. It’s considered the gold standard for women 40 and above. Ultrasound uses sound waves and is better for examining dense breast tissue and distinguishing between fluid-filled cysts and solid masses. They complement each other well.

Mammograms involve brief compression of the breast which may cause temporary discomfort, but modern machines are designed to minimize pain. The entire procedure takes only a few minutes. Any discomfort is temporary and well worth the early detection benefits.

MastoCheck is a next-generation breast cancer screening blood test that uses multiple protein biomarkers to detect early signs of breast cancer. It requires only a small amount of blood (~1ml), is non-invasive, radiation-free, and is designed to complement conventional imaging methods such as mammogram and ultrasound.

MastoCheck has demonstrated 77% accuracy for Stage 1–2 breast cancer — significantly higher than the conventional single-marker CA 15-3, which has only 10% diagnostic accuracy at the same stage. Its false negative rate is 28%, compared to over 90% for CA 15-3. Clinical studies also show that combining MastoCheck with mammography improves overall sensitivity from 63% to 93.9%, and for women with dense breasts (Grade 4), sensitivity jumps from 47.2% to 84.9% — a 30% improvement. (Source: Journal of Breast Disease, 2019)

MastoCheck is particularly useful for women with dense breast tissue, those with breast implants, and those with concerns about radiation exposure. Younger women aged 20–40 with above-average breast cancer risk — such as those with a family history or known genetic predisposition — may also be considered. Please consult our doctor to find out if MastoCheck is right for you.

There is no one-size-fits-all rule for breast cancer screening. If imaging and MastoCheck show conflicting results, closer monitoring is recommended. For example, if your imaging result is negative but MastoCheck is positive, your doctor may recommend follow-up reviews every 3–6 months over the next 1–3 years. Our doctors will guide you through the appropriate next steps based on your individual situation.

Each individual test (Mammogram or Ultrasound) typically takes 15–30 minutes. If you’re doing multiple tests, please allow 45–60 minutes for your appointment.

You will receive your comprehensive screening report within one week. The report includes doctor’s review and recommendations. If any concerning findings are detected, we will contact you promptly for follow-up.

Yes! We provide official receipts for medical claims. Please check with your HR department about your company’s health screening benefits coverage.
